His new favorite is Dora the Explorer...if you havn't heard of it, it's a show in english but with spanish thrown in. It's interactive and Carter loves answering the questions and finding things. Till now (we bought a new one today) he's always had only one Dora movie and he seriously almost has it memorized! He'll walk around the house or sitting in the car reciting things from the movie or singing the songs. He's started using some spanish words since he's been watching it, too.
It's amazing how much he can memorize. We love hearing him learn new things, I will miss him going to daycare because of this! He learned a lot in this year at daycare....his letters, colors, and counting to 10, among other things. He loves going there and the ladies there have been so great with us. When I wasn't feeling good they told us to bring him as often as we wanted, and now this last week of school they said we could bring him every morning if we wanted so we could get packing done. He was there this morning and we can get so much more done when he is out of the house :-) He did "help" me pack some clothes today though.Since we're on the subject of dear Carter, how about a potty training update. He still doesn't tell us when he has to go, only every so often. But we've noticed he is doing much better at waiting until we bring him to the bathroom. We think it has been confusing him, though, that we put diapers on him when we go out, because sometimes it seems like then when we're home and he just has gitch on, he forgets that he doesn't have a diaper on anymore...
So we're venturing out in the world of no diapers!! (except for night and when he's in his bed in the afternoons of course) We went out for a couple of hours today and he did really good! Went on the can at Wal Mart. The trip home though...he'll just have to go in his diapers, or I guess try holding it for a few hours, becuase we sure arn't planning to stop every hour for him to go to the can!
