Naptime

As I said earlier, we wanted to try cutting out Carter's nap and see if that would help him sleep better at night. So starting Monday, instead of a nap I told him he could lie in his bed and look at books - hoping this would give us a little time to relax. He's been really excited about it...especiallly that he can keep his light on, for some reason he always wanted to turn his light on when he was supposed to go to bed.
Monday he read books for an hour, didn't fall asleep, was in a good mood all day. Then Tuesday after an hour and a half I decided to go check on him...found this...

yesterday he fell asleep again. But we don't mind it this way, he's not trying to get out of his room etc etc like he was before and if he's tired I guess he just falls asleep. We still wake him up after a little bit though so he doesn't sleep too long - doesn't always like being woken up...but...

Going to bed in the evenings has been much better, only trying to get out of his room or turn the light on maybe twice (instead of up to 10 times...)

oh, Logan rolled all the way over yesterday. We missed it! Turned our back for a minute, turned back, there he was on his stomach.

We've been visiting with friends Jimmy and Sarah, and their son Max the last couple of days. They were students here last semester and are now living in Mexico and came up here to visit. Once we move to Mexico, we'll be about a 12 hour drive from them. Max is Carter's Thomas the Train mentor!...he gave him his first trains last semester and started the obsession.
