We decided to go El Salto del Nogal - a waterfall that is at the bottom of a canyon. It's a good hike down a mountain, one we had done a year or so ago as a family, so we knew it would be a good workout! It's quite steep and slippery, but the waterfall and scenery makes it worth it :)
On the drive there though, we spotted these yellow arches so had to stop for a quick photo shoot.
We always have a good time with this family! We were trying to time our jumps with when the timer would go off.
A random donkey along the way...we may have gotten off on the wrong road but not for long.
And then we began the hike.
All 3 boys are such troopers. It was about an hour down the mountain and then over an hour back up, climbing the entire way, and they just kept on going. Dallas carried Brady for all of 2 minutes total.
View from the top.
And then we reached the bottom of the canyon. There were several people down there, with grocery bags full of empty beer cans. How they got back up that mountain, on slippery stone, without falling over is beyond me!
