2 weeks, 2 days

So we have 2 more weeks and 2 more days left until we leave Delicias.

On the practial front....we have been:

~ looking for shrink wrap to wrap our couches, mattress' etc. for the move in the truck...and yesterday we finally found some

~ eating up the food that's left in our cupboards and freezers. I think we only have a few meals left from what I already have on hand.

~ packing some boxes

~ giving away some items that we don't plan to take with us

On the prayer front:

Please pray with us that a house would be found for us in Guadalajara! John and Connie are on the hunt for us there and we've been praying that God would direct them to the right place for us. Although we only have just over 2 weeks till we arrive there, we aren't worried about it. We'll be staying with John and Connie at any rate for a few days or more until our furniture arrives there so we know we have a place for as long as we need it :-) but we still pray that we could move into our house fairly quickly and get settled down.

on a side note...

we were wondering the other day if Logan was getting sick, I think I mentioned that. He slept hours and hours one afternoon and then when he woke up and fell asleep again with Dallas holding him for at least another hour.



He wouldn't let Dallas go so it was a good opportunity for Dallas to take a very rare afternoon rest :-)

anyhoo it ended up being Carter that got sick. Yesterday we were out all day in Cuauhtémoc for a church leaders meeting

{the boys had a blaaaast playing with their friend David at the church...and somehow I actually managed to sit in most of the 4 1/2 hr meeting without needing to look after the boys very much! It did help that we took the playpen and Brady had a 2 hr nap at the church. Carter asked a couple of times though if Brooklyn was still in Canada...since this was the first time we had gone to Cuauhtémoc since LeRoy and Faith went on furlough}

Well we got home early evening and on the way home Carter had a fever. We got him some meds once we got home and he rested for a bit, seemed to be getting better, and then the fever came back again. I layed down with him in bed for a bit...and then decided to get up so he could go to sleep. Within a minute of me getting up Carter puked ALL over his bed {whew I made it off of there in time!}. But that seemed to get rid of his sickness and after that he's been fine.

Enough of my rambling thoughts...we're off to friends Antonio and Letty - it was Antonio's b'day this week and a couple of days ago he had knee surgery so we'll go visit with some cake and pizza...
