Cabin!!

 A couple of weekend ago we headed out to a cabin nearby! It was 1 1/2 hrs away, by a small town that has tons of cabin rental places around it. Up in the mountains a little, with pine trees all around...it felt a little like some familiar and relaxing. We definately are cabin people.

now that our boys are old enough to take a proper picture, maybe we'll get more of just the 2 of us. It's bad really how few we have since we had kids.

The boys were just as excited to be out in the bush and spent a bunch of times collecting pine cones.

And sitting by the fire in the evening after a splashin'  fun bath.

Baths really are a novelty for us now that we only have showers in our house :-) My one requirement for a hotel or cabin...a bathtub. And a door that locks of course. I mean on the outside cabin door. ok.

Order of the day for day #2. Zip lining!

The Cabin

I think a cabin up there on the mountain will be visited by this family at least once a year for a little getaway, it's a nice little family time to have. And living in the city but {Dallas} having grown up in the country, we want the boys to enjoy being out there without houses all around them, do some exporing, sit by the fire...
