This has been a good day! Dallas is gone at a meeting so here I am, another evening home alone...it seems to be happening in the last month but such is life! Enjoying an iced coffee...
Had breakfast out at a fancy place this morning with 8 other ladies to celebrate a birthday. We got out once a month with this group of ladies.
And today was really great with them! For some reason I've found it hard to truly "be myself" with this group...to relax...but I told myself before today that I need to not care so much what they may think and it was so much more fun :-) and that's when we will get to know each other better and be able to have deeper talks as we get to know these families more...
When I came home Dallas told me that the wife of a friend that is going to be baptized this Sunday said today that she wants to be baptized also!! They have been coming to our Bible study for almost 5 months but she has said she does not believe just yet...so tomorrow we will meet with them to hear her story and hear what she believes. We are so excited though, we have been praying for her for a year since we met her!
Add to those good things, had a lot of fun thinking and planning and talking with Trav and Rosey (brother and sis in law who are missionaries in Paraguay) trying to coordinate our furloughs for next summer :-)
and skyped with my parents which is always great and they are coming in 10 days....wooohoo
some dissapointments in the day, no soccer or swimming times that Carter can join right now, issues going on in others lives that we are praying for and concerned about...
So that was my day.
But 'tis going good over here. So thankful.
