Today is rather busy with getting ready for them to arrive around 5 pm, Dallas will leave a little earlier to go pick them up. I am working on a bunch of prep for an event that we are doing with them tomorrow evening and getting the house ready, things like that.
And not part of the original plan, but Dallas had to take Carter and Logan into the immigration office downtown this morning. Which is a good thing! Every year we have to renew our visas in order to stay in Mexico. Well...the first time it took 9 months!! Then the second time took 4 months.
And now.....less than 2 weeks!! So crazy. A new government just came in and made some changes so the process seems much simpler now. So Dallas and I went in the other day, as we were called in, but were expecting to be told, well now you need these documents etc etc as always happens. Instead they told us our visas were ready. So we did our fingerprinting that day but now Carter and Logan had to go in.
We wait now 2-3 weeks for the visas to be sent to us, but apparantly that's all there is to it.
Speaking of today, it's my Grandma Harder's birthday!!
This was the last time we've seen her...just over a year ago...when they came to visit us in Guadalajara! So awesome that they came.
