Mountain Biking

I just wanted to post these pictures of us biking in the forest for my own future memory's sake, so enjoy with me.

This is the second time we've taken the boys to the forest and I love that we can do this as a family. We went on Friday morning, when the boys had a day off of school for teacher's meetings, so it was a regular work day which meant that there were no other bikers out there.

I think MEC should use this for an ad...and pay us of course ;)

 

So far we stick to the wider and smoother paths, until the boys get used to bumpy terrain.

 In order to get to the trails, you climb over this fence. It is private property but the owners allow bikers to use it for trail riding.

Logan took a good tumble going down the last hill. It's quite the hill and is paved, as it goes out of the forest, and the boys are determined not to use their brakes. Unfortunately this time there were rocks and dirt at the bottom from some heavy rains we've had and Logan hit a rock. All good though! A few scrapes is what it's all about, so they say.

And...how we get there. Having a van often comes in handy.
